Engineering Centre

Matchmaker CNC has the appropriate level of technology to match your specific production requirements, for example, at the high end of the technology scale, Matchmaker recently completed the installation of a five machine flexible manufacturing system (FMS) for Kenard Engineering (Tewkesbury) in Gloucestershire. This is the largest and most advanced FMS ever installed by a genuine sub-contracting company in the UK. The system consists of five Mitsubishi M-H5B high speed horizontal machining centres linked by a multi-level Fastems linear rack system which holds 72 pallets. The FMS is being used by Kenard to machine over 40 different components on a round-the-clock basis, with unmanned operation at night.
